About Our Products

Our products are handmade in small batches, that way we can ensure consistency and customers know they are purchasing from a fresh batch. Each of the ingredients contained in our products have been carefully selected to serve a purpose. As with all natural and organic products there may be slight variations in colour and consistency of texture from batch to batch. 

Seasons and weather can play a part in this, particularly so with butters and beeswax. In the warmer months you may find products containing these key ingredients may be softer, in this case giving your product a stir and placing your product in the fridge for 10 minutes will solve this. In the colder months you may find products containing these key ingredients may be harder, in this case working your product in the warmth of the palm of your hand will soften it. These changes are normal and will not affect the benefits of your product.

Patch testing is always recommended before use. In the unlikely event of a reaction, discontinue use. Essential oils are used in the majority of our products. While some essential oils are safe to use topically whilst pregnant or breastfeeding, it is best to avoid others particularly throughout certain trimesters. It is advisable to consult your physician before doing so

 

Caring for your products…

Bacteria requires water for it to grow. Avoid water getting into your products by always using clean dry hands, or preferably a spoon to scoop out the desired amount of product. Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.

 

What we do use…

Our products contain ingredients that derive from a natural source of botanicals and where stated, we use organic ingredients. They are beautifully scented with essential oils.

Our products are anhydrous, meaning they do not contain water, therefore synthetic preservatives are not needed in our products. We do use Tocopherol (Vitamin E) and Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) extract as they are natural antioxidants which help to prevent or inhibit the oxidation process, therefore lengthening the shelf life of your natural skincare product. Not to mention they can work wonders for your skin, including combatting the signs of aging!

 

What we do not use…

We do not use synthetics, toxins or fillers of any form.

We do not test on animals.
